I have heard that putting a raw (skinned) potato in oversalted soup helps, the potato apparently absorbs the salt.

flanderschristy, first squeeze the bottle and hold it; then place the opening on the yolk and relax the hand that’s squeezing, it will ‘suction’ up the yolk…. I’ve tried it; it works!!

Some pretty neat tips. The one about over salting would come in handy. They only one that confused me a bit is to separate egg yolks from egg whites in a plastic bottle. The top opening of the bottle is so small, how do you put the egg in there without also dumping it all over the counter? Maybe they use a kitchen funnel?
